Part Time Art Teacher

Now Hiring: Art Instructors – Arioso Music Academy (Hazen, ND)

Arioso Music Academy is expanding to Hazen, ND, and we are excited to add art classes to our offerings! We are looking for experienced, positive art instructors to teach students of all ages and skill levels. Candidates must be comfortable teaching small groups, large groups, workshops/events/birthdays, and one-on-one lessons.

Position Details:

• Pay: $17-22 per hour (DOE & Qualifications)
• Employment Type: W2 position (taxes withheld; not self-employed)
• Commitment: Minimum one-year commitment to ensure class consistency for students
• Flexible Scheduling: Options include summer-only teaching, school-year-only teaching, or year-round instruction. Classes are scheduled based on instructor availability, with options for daytime, after-school, or weekend lessons.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in art education, fine arts, or a related field (preferred)
• Teaching experience preferred but not required—new graduates are welcome!
• OR an equivalent of a two-year degree with 2 years of teaching or professional art experience
• Experience in various mediums and techniques (painting, drawing, mixed media, digital art, etc.) a plus

Start Date:

• Training to begin in April 2025, with classes starting in May
