We are looking for experienced caregivers that are interested in working with a male with Autism needing assistance with all ADLs. Our Caregivers are not only reliable, dependable and honest, but also compassionate and caring.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
- Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing
- Planning and preparing meals
- Providing medication reminders
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have Autism or Dementia experience
- Ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
- Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
- Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs

- Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus!
- You will not work with ARIS at home as a certified nursing assistant (CNA, C.N.A.), but as one of the following: caregiver, companion, personal care attendant, HHA, CHHA, H.H.A., home health aide, home health worker, home care caregiver, homemaker
