What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist - Springdale position at Arisa Health?
Arisa Health is seeking candidates to fill a Billing/Collection Specialist position in Springdale. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of medical billing and collections office experience is preferred. Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial Insurance is required. The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills; familiarity with Microsoft applications including, but not limited to Word and Excel and 10-key; and general knowledge of internet navigation and research, email, fax transmission, and copy equipment.
The position will be responsible for verifying insurance, following up with denied claims, and working with insurance companies to ensure payments are received. Candidates must have experience working with insurance websites. The ideal candidate should be able to work unsupervised.

This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt (hourly).
Work Hours: Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
