What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advocate/NY Connects Coordinator position at ARISE Child and Family Services?
ARISE is looking for a NY Connects Specialist for our Independent Living Program.
ARISE seeks a self-directed, highly organized professional to provide assistance and referral services to individuals in need of long-term care services through the NY Connects program and provide advocacy services to individuals in need of affordable and accessible housing. Approximately 50% of this position will be spent conducting outreach, working collaboratively with community partners and supporting callers with information on available long-term care resources and services. The other 50% will be spent supporting people with disabilities through general advocacy.
