Are you looking to advance your career as an Interior Designer while learning more about the intricacies of design and high end projects? Arise Interiors is seeking a full time entry level interior designer. We are looking for an enthusiastic collaborator who is creative, hardworking, organized, detail oriented. The candidate will work closely with our senior interior designer on a variety of projects. We specialize in mid to high end residential remodels and boutique commercial spaces and looking a someone to join our team to help us create exceptional designs. This position will offer the opportunity to design and create while learning more about the business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop space planning concepts in collaboration with lead designer
- Participate in finish selection/furniture selection and specifications
- Work with consultants, dealers, product reps, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives.
- Assist with configuration, materials, systems design and inventory of furniture at client sites.
- Develop digital and physical material boards and presentations for clients.
- Coordinate with vendors, including but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, furniture vendors
- Construction document development including but not limited to: plans, elevations, enlarged plans, door & window schedules, details.
Qualifications include:
- 1-3 years of related experience as an interior designer (degree counts towards experience)
- Knowledge of design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials.
- AutoCAD/Revit experience required. Sketchup & graphic presentations experience a plus.
- Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development.
- Ability to communicate design ideas and direction.
- Associates degree or higher in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture
- Willingness to participate, learn and grow.
Compensation – based on experience.
