Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients with a warm, friendly demeanor, making them feel welcome
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle electronic patient registration, insurance verification and prior authorization requests with accuracy.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient front office.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent care.
- Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a front office role, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
- Familiar with Medicare, AHCCCS, and Commercial Insurance companies.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Friendly, positive attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel software and familiar with medical office systems.
- Previous experience with insurance billing or scheduling is a plus, especially in the Prosthetics and Orthotics field.
