Home Health Aide Duties and Responsibilities :
Offering companionship to patients
Taking clients to their medical appointments, the grocery store and other important places
Managing medication
Preparing meals when needed
Keeping the house clean and doing laundry when needed
Providing bathing and dressing assistance
Keeping proper care records
Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities
Communicating with the office about the patient care plan
Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
Home Health Aide Qualifications and Skills :
- Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia care
- CPR so you can respond in an emergency ( required )
- Driver's license and auto insurance ( required )
- One year of caregiving experience
- CNA or STNA preferred
Home Health Aide Benefits for FT Team Members :
Starting pay $15.5-16 / hour or more depending on experience.
Pay increase ($0.50) at 60 days after meeting all requirements and completing training.
Salary : $16 - $16
