AristaCare at Meadow Springs is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC) to join our team in Plymouth Meeting, PA. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring compliance with Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- The RNAC will be responsible for conducting and coordinating the development and completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, adhering to the current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern resident assessments under Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA, and other payer programs.
- In this role, the RNAC will maintain and periodically update written policies and procedures that govern the development, use, and implementation of the RAI process.
- The RNAC will also develop, implement, and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for resident assessments, ensuring that the highest standards of care are met. Participation in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies is a key responsibility, as is monitoring the facility's Quality Improvement (QI) and Quality Measures (QM) reports to ensure that appropriate corrective actions are taken when potential problem areas arise.
- The RNAC will ensure that a current copy of the RAI Manual is readily available to all personnel involved in completing portions of the Minimum Data Set (MDS). This position requires the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to seek out new methods and principles to incorporate into existing nursing practices. Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid programs.

Requirements
- Must possess an RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must have a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- At least 2 years of prior experience as an RNAC is required.
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities.
- Experience in a Nursing Facility preferred
