What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehab Technician position at AristaCare Manchester?
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
·Help the rehab staff with patient interaction and coordinate treatment plans
·Complete clerical work as directed for residents and team members
·Participate in department meetings and in facility meetings as assigned
·Answer and direct phone calls
·Maintain compliance and regulatory driven duties such as obtaining physician signatures, maintain quarterly screen compliance and any other State or CMS regulations
·Coordinate work activities with members of other departments and other staff within the rehabilitation department
·Coordinate therapy schedule with nursing if needed
·Assist patients, clients, team members with issues or needs
·Participate in facility performance improvement programs
·Report any unusual incidents to Administrator
·Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment areas and department
·Assist with maintaining an adequate stock of supplies and equipment including pool check/maintenance
·Perform other duties as requested
EDUCATION
·High School graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
·Previous experience in patient/resident care in a nursing center, hospital, or rehabilitation center preferred.
·Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) preferred
·Therapy students will be considered.
