Position Responsibilities :
- Enter material and supply accounts payable invoices in accounting software program(s)
- Sort and distribute electronic invoices to Project Managers and Management teams for approval
- Assist with posting credit card transactions
- Contact vendors to request invoices
- Review vendor statements to identify any missing invoices
Required Skills
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
Keen attention to detail and a high level of initiative and ability to work independently
Desire to learn construction industry accounting practices
Required Experience
Required Experience :
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Candidates must have completed two introductory accounting classes
Candidates be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
