Position Responsibilities
- Partner with management and human resources to determine department needs, employee skills gaps, and training requirements throughout the organization.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs and materials tailored to all business units, while ensuring training aligns with company and departmental goals.
- Provide on-site or virtual training for employees at various levels.
- Train employees in managing day-to-day construction operations, internal processes and procedures, software, and other corporate-wide training initiatives, such as leadership initiatives, effective communication training, and more.
- Collect feedback from management and trainees to assess the effectiveness of training programs and adjust as necessary.
- Identify areas where operational efficiency can be improved and integrate solutions into the training materials.
- Offer one-on-one coaching for team members who need additional support
- Incorporate new developments into training programs to keep the workforce updated and competitive.
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Background in construction, either in operations or preconstruction/estimating.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
- 5 years of construction experience.
- Background developing effective training programs preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
