We're looking for an innovative DevOps Tech Lead to drive the design and delivery of scalable DevOps solutions across Aristocrat's diverse product and technology teams. In this role, you'll collaborate with technical and product stakeholders to build tooling that accelerates development velocity and supports the transformation of our social and casino gaming experiences. You'll lead a team of DevOps Engineers while remaining hands-on-contributing to architecture, development, and execution of modern DevOps practices.

Pay Range
$150,193 - $278,930 per year
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing DevOps and CI/CD team, contributing both strategically and hands-on.
- Partner with development and technology teams to enhance existing DevOps practices and co-create innovative, scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with leadership to modernize DevOps capabilities in alignment with enterprise standards.
- Champion a best-practices DevOps culture across Aristocrat's gaming verticals-land-based, online real money, and social gaming.
- Design, build, and maintain DevOps tools and infrastructure to accelerate product delivery and operational efficiency.
- Manage team performance, conduct reviews, and support the professional growth of direct reports.
- Foster a positive, values-driven team culture that reflects Aristocrat's core principles.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of DevOps experience across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS and Azure), with expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- 3 years leading or managing technical teams, with a strong ability to coach, influence, and stay hands-on.
- Proficient in modern development and deployment practices using .NET, Python, PowerShell, and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Experienced with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, including SOA, security by design, and data architecture principles.
- Skilled in managing source code using GitHub, Git, and SVN; familiarity with release automation tools is a plus.
- Solid grasp of application infrastructure and system architecture across Windows and Linux environments.
- Knowledgeable in Agile and traditional methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate to effectively and in a constructive manner with customers, coworkers, management and executives
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/projects, meet deadlines, facilitate change and delegate responsibilities
