As a Technical Artist you will be individually contributing to the creation of Aristocrat Games. This role requires in depth knowledge of art development technologies and platforms and demands skill in optimization and design efficiency in a multi-platform environment. Your management of and contribution to the directives of this role will allow the company to be a high-performance environment and deliver a robust and exciting gaming experience to our customers.What You'll Do Participate in the full game art development lifecycle of our productsCreate new games as well as modify existing legacy games ensuring the production of quality products to specified standards as defined by the requirementProduce project and task estimates, schedules, and complete projects on time and within budgetAid software engineers / testers and support personnel as needed to identify problems with game softwareProvide feedback regarding art considerations and usability issues concerning game software specifications and implementationConduct Game Analysis including requirements assessment and art reviewsCommunicate with Software Engineers, management, team leads, and other technical artistsPerform essential functions of art development by utilizing industry standard tools and equipmentEncourage the artistic development of artists on staff through training and mentorship.What We're Looking For 4 years of professional art experience2 years working as a Technical ArtistCasino gaming experience preferredExperience in a production environment collaborating directly with development teamsArt degree and / or vocational certification in video graphics or equivalent preferredPortfolio that demonstrates experience with animation tools and techniquesKeen eye for composition, timing, color, lighting and effectsConstant technical and creative problem solveStrong organization and communication skillsArticulate and communicate complex technical art & animation issues in both constructive and informative waysHave experience with - Adobe CC Suite with an emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects, Source control software (perforce, Alienbrain, SVN, etc.), proprietary tools or software, experience with Scrum, Waterfall or Agile methodologies a plusActively seek feedback and review of work; accept and act upon creative / technical directionWhy Aristocrat?
