Aristos Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking for a State Tested Nursing Assistance (STNA) to add to our team! We are looking to hire STNAs for evening shift .
We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate STNA to join our team. The ideal candidate provides compassionate direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, and provides personal care and comfort - this includes bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding and other services.
- Observe and interpret patients symptoms and communicate with nurses
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients
- Maintain excellent hygiene and safety (infection control, contact/droplet precautions, etc) and willingness to follow proper procedures
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, condition or problems to report
Qualifications
- State Tested Nursing Assistant certification
- Proficient in basic life support and patient care
- Experience in long-term care, assisted living, and nursing home settings
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient service best practices
- Ability to work with diverse populations
