We are currently seeking a Market Data Analyst to join our team.
The Market Data Analyst at Aristotle will be responsible for managing relationships with market data vendors, negotiating and managing contracts, analyzing data usage, and overseeing a $10 million annual budget. The role also involves ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, conducting market data audits, optimizing processes, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to address data needs.
What You Will Do :
- Vendor Management :
Act as the primary point of contact for market data vendors, including Bloomberg, FactSet, FTSE Russell, S&P, Moody's, and other key market data providers.
Review, negotiate, and manage contracts and agreements with data providers to secure favorable terms and ensure compliance.
Analyze market data usage across the organization to identify cost-saving opportunities and eliminate redundant services.
Monitor and manage approximately a $10 million annual market data budget.
Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory requirements.
Manage market data audits conducted by vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
Implement and support a vendor governance framework, best practices, and tools required to manage market data.
Collaborate with investment teams, technology, compliance, and other internal stakeholders to understand and address market data needs.
Evaluate and identify alternative market data providers as potential backups to ensure continuity and mitigate risk.
Work closely with internal users to identify and select the most suitable data sources and indices for the firm's business requirements.

Compensation Range : $120,000.00 - $160,000.00, plus discretionary bonus.
Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, education, internal equity, and physical work location within the state.
This is a hybrid role, based in our Los Angeles, CA office or Newport Beach, CA office.
