Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee our PCR molecular infectious disease laboratory operations. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.
- Oversee daily testing and ensuring accurate results in a timely manner.
- Manage research data collection processes, ensuring integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure that all laboratory activities comply with CLIA regulations and other relevant guidelines.
- Analyze research findings and prepare reports for stakeholders, presenting data in a clear and concise manner.
- Facilitate training for laboratory staff on best practices in microbiology and laboratory management.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring that the laboratory is well-stocked and operational at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a research laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures.
- Familiarity with CLIA regulations related to laboratory operations and clinical trials.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Excellent supervisory skills with experience managing a team of laboratory professionals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results in all aspects of work.
