Responsibilities
- Help the project manager in planning and scheduling project tasks and resources
- Keep project files, plans, and reports updated and organized
- Communicate with team members, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Track the progress of the project and report any issues to the project manager
- Help ensure compliance with building and safety regulations
- Order, receive, and inventory construction materials and supplies
- Assist in resolving any problems that may arise during the construction process
- Assist in tracking project budgets and cost estimation
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers ensuring timely delivery of services and materials
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a construction or administrative support role is preferred
- Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with construction processes and project management software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep detailed records
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and vendors
- Familiarity with construction processes, project management software, and basic computer skills
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
- Ensuring accuracy in documentation and project tracking
- Bilingual English/Spanish
