Role and Responsibilities
As a Order Service Representative you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of flooring orders. Your primary responsibilities will involve working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to process and coordinate flooring orders from initiation to delivery.

- Review incoming flooring orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer requirements and specifications.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to clarify order details, provide updates on order status, and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Accurately enter flooring orders into the company's order processing system, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing team to ensure the availability of required flooring materials and products for order fulfillment.
- Communicate the scheduling of flooring installations and deliveries to the Production Scheduler to meet customer timelines while optimizing efficiency.
- Maintain well-organized records of all order-related communication, transactions, and paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Generate reports related to order processing, inventory levels, and order status as required by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in order processing, customer service, or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using order processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with flooring materials, installation processes, and industry terminology is advantageous.
