What You’ll Do
As a Dentist in our practice, you will work collaboratively with our hygienists and dental assistants to deliver quality care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Examining and diagnosing dental illnesses, infections, and conditions.
- Performing procedures, including restorations, root canals, extractions, and dental implants.
- Designing and fitting dental prosthetics, such as bridges, crowns, and dentures.
- Conducting surgeries on diseased tissues and bones.
- Promoting oral hygiene and preventive dental care through patient education and regular check-ups.
- Developing individualized treatment plans to improve oral health and habits.
- Preparing patients for procedures with oral sedation or anesthesia as necessary.
- Prescribing medications and managing post-treatment care.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A valid State DDS or DMD license.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience or completion of a GPR (General Practice Residency) or AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) program.
- Proficiency with dental tools, equipment, and digital workflows.
- Experience with extractions, root canals, surgeries, and restorative procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures and build rapport with patients.
- A pleasant, compassionate demeanor to make patients feel comfortable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
