Location Description:
The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration and has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space, and 8 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining).

As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for observing guests utilizing the pool slide and performing designated rescue practices as needed to ensure guest safety according to local, state and federal health and safety regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Perform slide shift duties.
- Enforce slide rules consistently and fairly.
- Open and close the pool areas according to established schedule and direction from Manager or Supervisor.
- Continually maintain slide deck areas to ensure cleanliness and orderly arrangement of pool, towels, and furniture.
- Interact with guests at the slide area to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
- Six (6) or more months of Lifeguard experience, preferred.
- Current Lifeguard Certificate, preferred.
- Individual must be able to meet the required pre-requisites to be able to obtain Shallow Water Lifeguard Certification.
- CPR / First Aid Certification, preferred.
