The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration and has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space, and 8 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining).

As a Steward / Dishwasher, you would be responsible for washing dishes and general kitchen cleaning duties to include cleaning and mopping kitchen floors and trash removal. Specifically, this includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Gather pots and pans to wash in a three (3) compartment sink or a pot machine; breakdown, spray, load, unload dishes, glassware and flatware as they arrive in the dish area, then return items to the appropriate storage location
- Maintain chemical detergents in all applicable equipment such as dish washers, pot washers, and routine dispensers.
- Wash baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards; sweep and mop all floors, wash all floor mats; clean kitchen equipment to include but not limited to dish machines, ice machines, pot machines, prep tables, hot boxes, refrigerators, etc.
- Separate, remove, and properly dispose of trash and garbage, including potential bio-hazard cleanup.
- Maintain inventories of linen and remove soiled linen.
- Comply with regulatory departments and with departmental and property policies and procedures, to include Health Department, OSHA, Fire Department, etc.
- Complete mandatory health and safety training as required by the company or regulatory entities.
- Perform other job-related duties as required by management.
This is a full-time position, and you must have availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of work experience, required
- Food Handler's Card
- ServSafe Certification, preferred
- Previous dishwasher experience, preferred
- Hospitality and/or F&B experience, preferred
- Great attitude
- Team player
- Sense of urgency
- Always strives for excellence
