What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Food and Beverage position at Arizona Broadway Theatre?
Arizona Broadway Theatre , a 500-seat performing arts theatre with in theatre dining, seeks a full-time Food and Beverage Director for its restaurant and banquet operations. This position oversees all operations of the Food and Beverage Department including food preparation, dining service, bar service and banquet functions.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of restaurant management experience.
Qualifications
- You must have a firm understanding of all aspects of managing a restaurant and bar.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, even-tempered are articulate.
- Possess excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify, address, and resolve conflicts.
- Working knowledge of Toast POS system, 7 Shifts scheduling and/or Planning Pod is a plus.
- Good computer skills, including MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Must be willing to work flexible hours.
- Banquet services experience preferred
- Safe Serv Managers and Title 4 Manager certificates.
Duties and Responsibilities
- The Food & Beverage Director is expected to be a ‘hands-on’ leader in hiring, training, scheduling, motivating, and developing service staff.
- Maintain sanitation levels according to health code standards.
- Ensures that all POS system programming and maintenance is up to date and correctly priced for food and beverage department.
- Monitors purchasing and receiving procedures for products and supplies to ensure proper quantity, quality and price for all purchases.
- Manage all physical inventories for cookware, glassware, silverware, small wares and food.
- Creates policies and procedures for efficient operations of all food and beverage areas.
- Monitor the kitchen equipment for regular maintenance, repair and replacement.
- Provide reports to GM & CEO .
Salary is dependent on experience. Full compensation package includes benefits.
