Arizona Building Supply serves the needs of builders, contractors, and homeowners statewide. Arizona Building Supply manufactures truss and wall panel components, and sells a wide range of building materials including lumber, windows, doors, hardware and trim. Additionally, they operate regional home centers located throughout the state, offering a variety of building materials and home improvement supplies.
The Market Sales Manager is accountable for executing on strategic plans, driving sales, and leading sales teams for Windows, Doors, and Cabinets throughout Arizona Building Supply. Leads the sales department and manages all sales operations in the market. Duties include developing sales strategies, training staff, setting sales goals, and establishing customer relationships. Ensure sales revenue meet or exceed goals to keep the company profitable. Tests different sales plans and adjusts the sales strategy as needed to increase profits. Typically manages locations with revenue greater than $100M annually.
What you will do
- Preparation and maintenance of budgets for Division sales and marketing events.
- Coordinates all Regional sales and marketing events.
- Introduce and promote all new products to sales team.
- Coordinates the assistance of vendors in the above.
- Coordinates sales meetings in the Area and in specific portions of the Division.
- Promotes products from preferred suppliers and grows market share within existing and target accounts.
- Responsible for constant analysis of profit margin, A / R and inventory for assigned region of operations.
- Focus on in-depth analysis of sales and marketing functions of responsible product lines throughout AZBS.
- Pursues business within various customer segments : production builders, semi-custom builders, custom builders, renovation and remodel, multifamily, and commercial.
- Complies with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
- Develops and drives key sales strategies and initiatives with Vice President of Specialty Products.
- Communicates specific quarterly or annual sales goals and motivating the sales teams to achieve goals.
- Monitors the market and competitor products and activities and provides detailed sales forecasting.
- Advises on market trends, competitive price situations and similar market information.
- Identifies where improvements can be made and develops sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Examines and resolves claims and disputes.
- Collaborates with the marketing department to design print and online promotional materials for the company's products and services.
- Establishes and maintains key customer relationships; locates opportunities to expand client base.
- Collaborates with Operations Manager and Installation Manager to build plan for sustained growth of installed products across various segments.
- Works with Location Managers and salespeople at Home Centers throughout AZBS to drive sales of windows, doors, and cabinets.
- Reviews customer activity, anticipates consumer needs, and networks with clients to persuade them to bring new or expanded business to the company.
- Builds relationships with key accounts and supports sales team in relationship management of all accounts
- Works with sales team to close new business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted customers
- Oversees recruiting and hiring of sales staff and develops training programs
