Job Summary
The Healthcare Data and Reporting Analyst is a member of the team that supports all Epic application’s operational data and reporting requests. Engages with users to understand their business operations, processes, and user needs. Resolves problems, performs updates and edits to existing data extracts and reporting, and develops new data extracts and reporting.
While remote candidates will be considered, preference will be given to local candidates (residents of California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and New York are not eligible for remote employment).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Engage with end-users to understand specific data/reporting needs.
· Collect specifications, create documentation, and build dashboards and reports within the EHR
· Research reporting inconsistencies and troubleshoot existing reports by tracing back to source data
· Use SlicerDicer to create dynamic data visualizations for organization-wide use
· Assist with EHR upgrades by configuring, validating, and distributing new reporting content
· Develop and implement ETL processes to integrate external data into Epic
· May be assigned special projects and additional duties
Requirements
Degree in Data Analytics, related field, or equivalent experience
· Minimum of high school diploma or GED credential (a high school equivalency diploma)
· Experience with SQL or other programming languages
· Epic Cogito data model accreditations/certifications preferred
· Experience using advanced Excel features and techniques
· Ability to evaluate data integrity and quality to ensure accuracy
· Critical thinking, attention to detail, analytical, quantitative and communication skills
· Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
· Excellent judgment and ability to interact and communicate with a variety of people
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
