Job Summary
Under the direction of the Aquatics & Youth Activities Director, the Lifeguard is responsible for the safety and well-being of the members and guests entering the pool while swimming. You will have the luxury of working outdoors in the beautiful Arizona weather and our newly renovated pool!
Flexible availability is required to accommodate day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. This is a part-time position, the schedule is to be determined. Shifts are available between 9 am to 8 pm. Hours are available year-round.
During our off-season, we encourage our Lifeguards to work in our Youth Activities department to stay employed year-round.
You will be responsible for supervising staff, assisting in leading in-services, assisting in the maintenance of the facility, and ensuring the rules and policies are enforced.
Schedule
shifts available 7 days a week between 11 am and 8 pm (must be able to work 30 hours per week and available by March 6th)
Must be available June - August
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years old
Current Lifeguard Certification
CPR/First Aid/AED Certification required
Ellis or American Red Cross Lifeguard certified
At least 2 years experience as a lifeguard
