Job Title: Finance Director
Salary: Starting salary is $90,000 annually and is negotiable based on experience
Position/Role: Party is seeking a driven, organized Finance Director to support the Chair and Executive Director with fundraising efforts to fully fund our operating budget, grow and diversify ADP?s donor base and increase overall fundraising.
Write and reconcile the full annual and monthly finance plan with finance staff, Operations Director, and Executive Director.
Oversee the complete financial health of the organization with Executive Director, Operations Director and State Party Chair
Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with in-state and out-of-state donors, partners and committees.
Assist the Finance Staff and work with vendors in regularly maintaining databases and other administrative and technical duties as assigned.
Willingness to support and staff call time, prep, follow up, and scheduling.
Knowledge of finance planning, budgeting and cash flow processes.
Basic understanding of Arizona and federal campaign finance law is required.
This position reports directly to the ADP Chair and Executive Director.
Responsibilities:
Manage and direct Deputy Finance Director and any additional finance staff
Maintain and update databases with current donor information
Proactively participate with building of relationships with donors and potential donors in state and nationally
Assist with providing the necessary information and preparation for the Executive Director and Chair to maintain relationships with major donors, institutional partners and allies
Supervise and support the Deputy Finance Director in staffing principal call time and coordinating principal calendar
Work with senior staff on creation and distribution of fundraising materials based on priority programs
Manage the Party?s digital fundraising vendor to ensure projections are met as well as any other fundraising vendor relationships
Execute fundraising events, including taking an active event management role in the Party?s marquee events
