The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Business Analyst. DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven. These services empower individuals with developmental disabilities to lead self-directed, healthy, and meaningful lives.
Applicants for this position cannot be licensed or certified by the DDD Office of Licensing Certification and Regulation, cannot have a principal interest in or have a spouse or a close family with principal interest in a DDD Qualified Vendor Agreement, and cannot be employed or subcontracted by a DDD Qualified Vendor.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Work with business owners and cross functional teams to review, prioritize and address platform defects; ensure that enhancements meet business and functional requirements and expected business benefits as well as ensure scheduled changes are communicated with end users including reviewing and monitoring updates to user education materials. Develop and execute system test plans and test cases in collaboration with MIS.
- Develop a strategic roadmap for each platform, collaborate with cross functional teams to develop plans to implement platform strategies. Monitor progress of platform strategic initiatives as well as identified enhancements and updates to platforms. Participate in leadership meetings and activities and provide best practices and recommendations to leadership regarding the platforms.
- Interface with MIS regarding Data Transmission between DDD and AHCCCS including strategies to reduce errors. Participate in discussions / communications when planned and unplanned system outages occur. Provide written communication and guidance to teams affected by changes or outages with the systems. Maintains system standards by applying project management methods, tools, and processes.

Retirement :
State employees are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS), the State sponsored retirement contribution plan and the Long-Term Disability (LTD) program after a 27-week waiting period. The ASRS defined benefit plan provides for life-long income upon retirement. You will also have the option to participate in a voluntary deferred compensation program to take advantage of tax-deferred retirement investments.
