DES is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Applications Developer (Senior SQL / .NET AZURE Developer). This is a team lead position and is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex AZURE SQL databases, leading database projects, troubleshooting database performance issues, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the performance and scalability of data systems by utilizing advanced SQL techniques and best practices. Maintains and supports Microsoft AZURE App services & C# .NET based applications.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Diagnose and resolve defects in production environments, prioritizing quick and effective solutions.
- Mentor junior developers.
- Engage with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and contributes to completion of functional specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with AZURE App Services based applications.
- Write custom SQL Queries based on need.
- Performance tunes, reviews and recommends improvements to existing codes.
- Develop new cloud native applications to meet functional and technical designs.
