The Department of Economic Security is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Training Officer 2 with the Division of Business Services, Office of Professional Development. The Training Officer 2 provides instructor-led training throughout the state. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, delivering training, facilitating development activities, ensuring quality of training delivery and materials being presented. Providing mentoring and coaching to staff as necessary, coordinating with business partners and customers to meet organizational training needs, providing facilitation services as needed and assisting with course development.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meetings of expected performance measures.

Job Duties :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Trains division staff around the state on topics.
- Prepares to present training classes, including learning new materials, attending Train the Trainer workshops, gathering materials, traveling to class sites, and setting up training facilities.
- Performs routine administrative tasks involving status reports, project plans and correspondence, attending meetings, serving on committees and teams, attending training and professional development classes and workshops, and serving on committees and workgroups.
- Assists with creation, revision, of all training materials / courseware, evaluating training aids, such as videos, audio tapes, job aids, exercises, training instruments, and other training resources for use across all divisions. Ensures alignment with course materials, training objectives, and compliance with DES standards, and makes recommendations to OPD management.
