The Electrician\'s primary responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. They will interpret blueprints and schematics, adhere to local and national electrical codes, and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify and implement solutions that exceed customer expectations.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSafely install electrical systems, wiring, and equipment based on technical diagrams / schematics and blueprints. This includes outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers.Perform routine maintenance of electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality. This includes inspecting electrical components, identifying faults, and repairing or replacing defective parts.Diagnose and repair electrical problems in a timely manner. This may involve troubleshooting circuits, testing electrical systems with tools and equipment, and replacing faulty components.Adhere to local and national electrical codes and regulations to ensure installations and repairs meet safety standards. Stay updated with industry standards and best practices.Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Complete paperwork and reports as required by employers or regulatory agencies.Effectively communicate with clients, supervisors, and team members to discuss project requirements, provide updates, and coordinate work activities.Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks of electrical hazards.
