ADDITIONAL APPLICATION REVIEW WILL ONLY BE CONDUCTED IF NECESSARY.General Definition of WorkPerforms difficult advanced technical work editing, building, supporting, and maintaining enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) database and software, map production, spatial analysis and GIS product distribution, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the IT Division Manager.The ideal candidate for the GIS Coordinator position will possess a comprehensive blend of technical expertise, customer service, and a passion for spatial data analysis. This individual will have a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), demonstrated through a degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field, combined with practical experience in GIS using ESRI platforms, data management, cartography, and GIS collection tools. The GIS Coordinator will be a proactive and adaptable professional dedicated to leveraging GIS to support informed decision-making and enhance Lake Havasu Citys organizational efficiency.
