Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate individuals
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Perform data entry tasks to update patient information and medical records
- File and organize paperwork, including patient charts and insurance forms
- Transcribe medical notes and documents as needed
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- Assist with clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents
Skills:
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist is highly desirable
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping
- Ability to transcribe medical notes accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with filing systems and ability to maintain organized files
- Exceptional customer service skills for providing a positive patient experience
