The Arizona Group Insurance Brokers is an Arizona-based Independent Insurance Agency that is seeking a career-minded and experienced Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager who resides in the Phoenix Metro Area. We are looking for a candidate who can perform exceptional Account Management for our Personal Lines Team.
This is a full-time, hybrid-friendly position for an Agency with less than 100 employees.

Full Time - Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm
Hourly $26.44 - $31.25 per hour plus Monthly and Quarterly bonus potential

Accountability :
Maintain and retain assigned Personal Lines book of business in accordance with Agency Standards. Support Personal Lines team through designated tasks in accordance with Agency Standards using Applied Epic.
Skills / Requirements of a Personal Lines Account Manager :
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Property & Casualty Arizona resident insurance license required ; Life & Health license preferred
Minimum of 2 years of insurance industry experience ; Personal Lines specific experience preferred
Familiarity with and understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance coverage lines including, but not limited to, Personal Auto, Home, Umbrella, Motorcycle, Inland Marine and Dwelling Fire
Demonstrates desire for continuing education
Knowledge of computer operations including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Knowledge of Applied Epic agency management system preferred
Ability to read, write, speak and use proper grammar in English
Ability to communicate verbally, both in person and on the telephone
Ability to read and comprehend written instruction, correspondence, memos, and technical procedures
Ability to write comprehensive business correspondence
Strong ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize workflow
Ability to process a high volume of work under tight production turnaround times
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to adopt TAG Culture
Professionalism in appearance, communication and treatment of others
Responsibilities of a Personal Lines Account Manager :
Primary point of contact for assigned book of business policy servicing duties
Acts as backup to other Personal Lines team members, as needed
Provides prompt, courteous service to all clients to fulfill their needs. This includes but is not limited to coverage questions, billing issues, premium increases and discussions, policy changes, proof of insurance, etc.
Counsel existing clients on coverage needs and identify opportunities for Account Rounds and Upsells as part of Department Standards
Achieves retention goals as part of Agency Standards by using consultative approach during all client touches and offering alternate coverages and services
Remarket policies where appropriate to meet retention goals
Maintains daily follow up activities in accordance with procedural guidelines
Creates detailed and accurate documentation in Applied Epic management system regarding all interactions with clients, prospects, carrier representatives, etc.
When necessary, completes applications for insurance and has insured sign them. Obtains all necessary file documentation. Submits for issue to eligible and appropriate carriers, staying within agency binding guidelines
Actively advises and refers clients to other departments within agency to further engage client with all aspects of risk portfolio
Pro-actively reviews coverage portfolio at renewal and provides recommendations to enhance client risk management
Generates documents and produces correspondence to satisfy client service requests or to provide automated information, as needed by client
Counsels clients on loss related questions and refers to agency claims team or carrier when appropriate
Processes / distributes incoming mail requests and responds promptly and appropriately
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by agency management
