Your day as a Mechanical Engineer III or IV
As a Mechanical Engineer at Arizona G&T Cooperatives, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations. You will safely and effectively manage overhauls, mechanical maintenance repairs, and performance design changes for AEPCO steam and gas turbines, as well as other major rotating equipment. Your expertise will be essential in providing comprehensive mechanical engineering support to our plant operations, maintenance, and planning teams. Additionally, you will function as the project engineer for plant betterment and capital projects, driving innovation that enhances our facility's performance. This position ensures that your contributions directly impact our operational excellence and the sustainability of our energy solutions.
Requirements for this Mechanical Engineer III or IV job
To excel as a Mechanical Engineer at Arizona G&T Cooperatives, candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and bring 4 plus years of experience in mechanical and power station engineering, particularly in turbine maintenance, inspection, and overhaul supervision. Proficiency in budgeting, as well as the ability to write detailed work scopes and repair procedures for turbine and rotating mechanical equipment, is essential.
