Arizona G&T Cooperatives is seeking candidates for the position of Manager of Instrument and Electrical Maintenance at the Apache Generating Station located in Cochise, AZ. This position will manage, supervise and train Instrument Technicians and Plant Electricians to perform scheduled, preventative maintenance and capital improvements in a safe and productive manner while ensuring reliability and availability for peak megawatt production at a competitive cost. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following
- :Annually prepare and manage an Instrument and Electrical maintenance budget of 1 million dollars
- .Ensure that all work is accomplished within regulatory requirements
- .Direct personnel so that skills are applied to proper maintenance activities
- .Conduct crew tailgate and safety meetings
- .Ensure that technical training is made available and that all are proficient in the areas relating to their jobs
- .Review warehouse inventory

Minimum requirements are a six years previous experience in high-pressure steam production, generation maintenance, fuel and ash handling equipment and maintenance of plant emission equipment and two years supervisory experience. Working knowledge of power plant operations and equipment and the maintenance planning process is a plus. Good written and verbal skills are needed to be able to work within a multifaceted tea
