JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying and researching potential clients that have a need for temporary staffing services, qualifying leads, establishing relationships with prospective customers, and generating new business opportunities for the company, ultimately working with the sales team to expand the client base and meet revenue targets. Key duties include prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, and maintaining accurate information within the CRM system to nurture leads and qualify them for further sales engagement.?
JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
Lead generation:
- Actively search for and identify potential clients through market research, networking, and online platforms.?
- Respond to sales inquiries and service concerns by phone and electronically.
Qualifying leads:
- Screen and assess potential clients to determine their needs and meet the company's target market.?
- Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
Cold outreach:
- Initiate contact with prospective clients through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to introduce the company's services.?
Relationship building:
- Develop and maintain positive connections with potential clients to understand their pain points and build trust.?
- Address all client requests and/or issues and escalate as needed.
CRM- Sales pipeline management:
- Track lead progression through the sales funnel and ensure timely follow-up.?
- Accurately update and manage customer information within the company's CRM system.?
Presentation and demonstration:
- Deliver compelling presentations highlighting the value proposition of the company's offerings to potential clients.?
Collaboration with sales team:
- Work closely with Sales team to hand off qualified leads and support the sales process.?
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Representative for further development and closure
- Maintain constant communication with Sales team regarding new clients.
- Collaborate with the operations and sales teams to identify and grow opportunities within the territories.
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- 1-2 years of Business Development and Customer Service Sales experience, preferably in the Staffing Industry
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
