Arizona Labor Force, Inc. is searching for an in-house IT Support Technician to work at our corporate office in Tempe. For almost 40 years we have been an industry leader in providing temporary employees for general labor (skilled and unskilled), construction, industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, hospitality, and special events. Since our first branch office opened in 1985, our network of offices has grown, and we are constantly looking to continue our growth and enhance our market position. We are currently looking for an aspiring support technician who is smart, passionate and eager to learn. Under supervision of the VP of IT, this person will install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade computer hardware, software, applications, personal computer networks, peripheral equipment ; assess user training needs and train users in effective use of applications; troubleshoot and fix problems with the company’s custom applications at corporate, branch and affiliate offices. Candidates must be flexible and excited about working in a fast paced team environment; exhibit communication and organizational skills, and be willing and able to focus on both internal and external customer service to meet business needs.
Responsibilities :
Installs, configures and upgrades operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages; may modify specific applications for use in operational departments.
Installs, assembles and configures computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware; pulls cables and rewires or directs the rewiring of cables as required for new installations and office reconfiguration.
Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, custom applications, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required
Acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and applications; staffs a centralized help desk solution.
Respond to telephone calls, e-mails and personnel requests for technical support.
Cleaning and maintenance of office wide Printers, faxes and Photocopy machines, etc.
Able to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
- Fluent written and spoken English skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
