Summary
As a Front Office Patient Care Coordinator at AZOPT you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. This role is vital in supporting our mission of personalized care and will involve managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing an exceptional first impression of the clinic.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
- Maintain accurate patient records using eClinicalWorks software.
- Assist with insurance verification and coding processes as needed.
- Coordinate communication between patients and therapists to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure the front office area is organized and well-maintained at all times.
- Support administrative tasks as required to facilitate smooth clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a front desk or administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for all visitors.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of insurance processes is beneficial but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective communication within the team and with patients.
