What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN- Overnights position at Arizona Rehab Campus Llc?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The LPN provides safe and effective nursing care in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Arizona Rehab Campus and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Department of Nursing Services. As a key team member in the clinical area, the Staff Nurse and Charge Nurse promote a climate of effective performance and learning through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing; Current licensure as a Licensed Practical nurse thorough the State of Arizona.
Experience: Clinical experience in a substance abuse, co-occurring and residential treatment patients/clients setting preferred.
Licensure: LPN License in good standing. TB, CPR Certification, Handle with Care and Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card with in 90 days of employment.
- Must possess a valid Arizona Drivers License to transport patients and/or staff, or drive facility vehicles.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
- Must be able to demonstrate special training, knowledge, and skills specific to population served, as well as job and/or program specific competency within the first three (3) months of training, and annually thereafter.
- Must be certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation upon hire and recertified every 2 years.
- Must complete all required mandatory in-services annually.
- Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire; PPD skin test required annually or chest x-ray if symptomatic.
- Must be certified in HWC training within the first three (3) months of hire and annually thereafter.
