Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Overnight Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our facility during nighttime operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment while upholding the dignity and privacy of clients and staff. This role involves active patrolling, monitoring security systems, and responding to emergencies in a calm and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Facility Security: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including indoor and outdoor areas, to ensure safety and deter unauthorized access.
- Access Control: Check identification and credentials of all individuals entering the facility, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, following established procedures.
- Crisis Management: Assist staff in de-escalating potentially volatile situations involving clients in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Surveillance Oversight: Monitor CCTV systems and report any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all activities, incidents, and security breaches during the shift.
- Collaboration: Work closely with medical and support staff to ensure a coordinated approach to safety.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred. Experience in a healthcare or substance abuse facility is a strong asset.
