The Foster/Adoption Placement Coordinator (Statewide Placement Coordinator) is responsible for coordinating the placement of children referred by the Department of Child Safety with licensed foster and/or adoptive families. This position will collaborate with community partners and governmental agencies throughout the state of Arizona.
Position location: This position is primarily Work From Home, but candidate must reside in the state of Arizona. Some occasional in person/office meetings and obligations may arise.
Pay range: $19.00 / hour - $23.25 / hour depending one education and experience.

What You'll Do:
- Responsible for working in partnership with Department of Child Safety to coordinate placement for children in foster care.
- Partners with resource family specialists and supervisors statewide to maintain current list of licensed homes with available bed space.
- Receives, monitors, and responds to placement requests from Department of Child Safety and the agency's resource family specialists.
- Assess and match needs of children with strengths of available families.
- Compiles and submits daily and monthly reports
- Communicate with families to assess needs and obtain other pertinent information.
- Uses necessary means of communication to maintain accessibility to Department of Child Safety and resource families i.e. telephone, email, etc.
- Safely and effectively monitor client activities.
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years related experience in the child welfare or behavioral health field OR
- Master's degree and less than 2 years of related experience
- Relevant Degree includes the following degrees: Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling and Child Development. Other degrees may be considered with at least 20 Credit hours from an accredited university in the previously referenced degree specialty.
Minimum Qualification & Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age (licensing requirement).
- Possess a valid Arizona driver's license and be insurable under the agency's automobile policy.
- Must be able to provide own transportation to and from clients' homes and/or other relevant organizations/agencies
- Must be able to provide DPS fingerprint clearance.
- Must be able to meet training and agency compliance requirements for the position.
