Food Service Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong commitment to food safety and sanitation practices while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Operate cash register and POS system for processing customer orders accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines during food preparation.
• Manage time effectively to meet customer demands during peak hours.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.
• Perform basic math calculations for portioning ingredients and managing inventory.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
• Basic math skills for handling recipes, weigh food items on scale
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
