Job Description :
The Department of Psychology seeks a talented candidate to join our dynamic Research Advancement Team as a Post-Award Research Advancement Administrator (RAA). This team member will join us in supporting and facilitating sponsored projects / grant management for our faculty, research staff, and students. We are a collaborative team of highly productive and creative individuals seeking a similar person to support and manage our research enterprise.
The position is responsible for post-award accounting, financial transactions, and grant management duties. Post-award RAA duties include staying informed on and understanding sponsor and University policies and procedures and using that knowledge to make decisions on process and action; communicating policy and procedures to our faculty, staff, and students; assisting with preparing and submitting required reporting internally and externally to sponsors; processing internal and external award management requests, such as at-risk accounts, no-cost extensions, re-budgeting of funds, and sponsor approval requests; wage and salary budgeting and approvals; and account reconciliation and forecasting. Financial transaction management duties include using our ASU Workday financial system, purchase order preparation, invoice / bill payment, spend authorizations, consultant and vendor contracting, reviewing and approving purchasing cards and travel expenses, and other transaction types as needed.

Salary Range : $58,656 - $63,000 per year : DOE

Working Environment :
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting. Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop computer; bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 20 pounds. Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential duties. Ability to work both independently or within a complex structured team. Works from general instructions on standard job duties and specific directions / instructions on new assignments. Exercises judgment within defined procedures & practices to determine appropriate action.
Arizona State University offers flexible work schedules and arrangements, including alternative schedules and remote work, that are reviewed and approved per University guidelines. Hybrid remote-work schedules are negotiable.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment / field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and / or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
