POSITION SUMMARY:
The Arizona Supreme Court Information Technology Division is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the infrastructure team. This technical position requires the performance of complex technical and administrative functions to ensure the availability of the Arizona Supreme Courts statewide network. This position will assist the Enterprise Network Supervisor by acting as a Lead to support other Network Engineer staff with their work assignments. Perform all new installation planning and coordination of all court moves, upgrade, site surveys, and disconnects. This position will function as an escalation point for all road engineers during on-shift and off-shift installations, configure Sophos and Cisco security and network equipment, assist with cabling projects, and create and update network documentation and diagrams as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate should have a bachelors degree in computer science or related field. Relevant work experience in the LAN/WAN environment may substitute for educational requirements. This position also requires a minimum of 5 years experience in customer-related Network support. Additionally, this position requires technical support experience in a large customer LAN and WAN environment. Extensive knowledge of IP subnetting, VPN and router configurations, implementations, and support, and Cisco router, switch and wireless configurations and implementations. Intermediate knowledge of Routed and Routing Protocols and understanding of Sophos and Cisco Next Gen Firewalls.
The preferred candidate will have a working knowledge of Windows 10 and newer Operating systems, Wireshark, and other network-related diagnostic tools. Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional Certification. The ability to work in a high-change environment as part of a network team.
This position requires in-state travel with little notice and requires off-shift hours and weekends at times.
