Typical Duties
- Serves Students. Following institutional policies and IRS regulations, verify billing and ensuring account accuracy for student’s district-wide, including billing and credits for special programs (e.g., Yuma Promise, La Paz Promise, La Paz College Credit Pathway). Coordinate with IT and other departments as necessary.
- Following institutional and governmental regulations, process, maintain, and reconcile district-wide student sponsorships. Create/monitor invoicing, payments, deposits, and refunds. Reconcile GL accounts.
- Following institution, government, and banking regulations, process district-wide bank deposits, as needed. Using knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, balance and reconcile deposit reports, ensuring accuracy.
- Support and participates in strategic initiatives and performs other duties as assigned.

- Five years of full-time experience in accounting OR
- Associate’s degree in accounting or associated field and three years of experience in accounting OR
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and two years of experience in accounting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required; language proficiency must be demonstrated on application materials
- One year of experience in a public education setting with position related experience preferred, but not required; experience and work history must be demonstrated on application materials
$19.48 - 20.65 per hour, depending on experience.
