In addition, the Guided Pathways Support Specialist provides clerical support to the Guided Pathways office, which includes the Pathways Faculty Advisors.

Typical Duties
- Serves Students. Manages and provides administrative support and outreach for student retention and success initiatives. Uses CRM Engage custom dashboards to identify and follow up on alerts generated through the system. Assists supervisor and advisors to respond to faculty referrals and students’ requests for assistance and coordinates with other campus offices to ensure students receive assistance. Follows up with students in person, via telephone, and through e-mail. Maintain notes within CRM-Engage on the resolution of these referrals for services and requests for assistance.
- Completes clerical duties for the Guided Pathways office, including but not limited to greeting visitors, making phone calls, answering phones, responding to emails, and providing other support as needed. Assists supervisor with managing the calendar for student advising appointments for the Pathways Faculty Advisors. Helps students schedule appointments with Pathways Faculty Advisors and with other advisors district-wide.
- Collaborates with district-wide campuses, individual departments, and appropriate committee groups to support student retention and success initiatives. Works closely with supervisor to participate in educational events pertaining to wrap-around services.
- Assists in the planning, maintenance, and tracking of budgets. Facilitates the purchasing and inventory of program-related items.
- Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of professional experience in higher education or customer service.

- Up to 19 hours per week
- Work flexible schedule to meet the program, department, and/or institutional needs, which may include Fridays, nights, and/or weekends
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret, apply, and follow college policies and procedures
- Knowledge of or ability to maintain organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
- Skill in current technologies and word processing, database, presentation, and spreadsheet software, specifically Microsoft Office applications, Windows, college system platforms, software, and applications, especially those specific to the department operations
- Skill and ability to be self-directed and to manage one’s own time
- Skill in performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature
- Ability to complete all departmental and/or institutional mandatory training or development
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow multiple projects and tasks through to completion, with close attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Ability to provide assistance in a professional and supportive manner
