Key Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans to mitigate escalations in child behavior.
  • Provide one-on-one support to children in their homes, schools, or community settings.
  • Collaborate closely with parents or guardians, as well as the child and family team.
  • Design and deliver age-appropriate behavioral interventions tailored to individual client needs.
  • Monitor progress and document all necessary findings and interventions.
  • Engage in weekly supervision and scheduled training sessions to continually enhance your expertise.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies, including behavior contracts and positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Empathy and professionalism, especially in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, child development, education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, or families facing behavioral challenges.

Compensation And Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of \(25,000 to \)30,000 annually, commensurate with skills, education, and experience. AYFS is proud to provide a comprehensive benefits package, including employer-paid health insurance, a 403(B) retirement plan, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for personal and professional advancement.

Work Schedule

The position typically requires non-traditional hours, with client sessions generally occurring between 3 PM - 9 PM, adjusted to meet client needs.
