Key Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans to mitigate escalations in child behavior.
- Provide one-on-one support to children in their homes, schools, or community settings.
- Collaborate closely with parents or guardians, as well as the child and family team.
- Design and deliver age-appropriate behavioral interventions tailored to individual client needs.
- Monitor progress and document all necessary findings and interventions.
- Engage in weekly supervision and scheduled training sessions to continually enhance your expertise.
- Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies, including behavior contracts and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Empathy and professionalism, especially in high-pressure situations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, child development, education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, or families facing behavioral challenges.
