Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and promoting our innovative software solutions. Closing sales for our business in the Passenger Bus/Shuttle Transportation Market. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical sales skills and a passion for DMC/ Transportation Logistics, enabling them to effectively communicate the value of our services to prospective customers.
Duties
- Conduct warm calling to engage potential clients and introduce our software solutions.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create effective strategies for reaching sales goals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Work to gain share of Market segmentation including Wedding Planners/DMCs, Collegiate Business/ Hotel Contracts etc.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in technology or software sectors.
- Strong technical sales skills with the ability to understand complex passenger transportation logistics including manifests and trip margin of profitability.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Ability to conduct warm calls and engage prospects effectively.
- Familiarity with market analysis techniques to identify potential opportunities.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving growth.
