What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at ARK Basement Services?
Ark Basement Services is looking for a part-time Office Assistant to join our team in Alliance, OH. This position will offer flexibility with regard to the schedule, but we are looking for someone to work between 15 and 20 hours per week. This is a perfect position if you are looking for extra income while the kids are at school.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills. Being able to speak professionally and with confidence will be necessary to maintain the quality of customer service our clients have come to expect. The Office Assistant will also be responsible for keeping an open and direct line of communication with the company’s Pittsburgh location.
Performing basic day to day office duties will be part of this position. This may include:
- Scheduling sales appointments and services calls.
- Updating the company calendar.
- Maintaining the filing system so all customer files are organized and accessible.
- Keeping office supplies stocked and the common area neat.
We will provide training on the software we use but knowledge of Microsoft Office products will be necessary. Someone who is detail oriented and well organized will be perfect in this position. If you have a basic knowledge of the day to day operations of a small business and are capable of multi-tasking all while maintaining a positive attitude this is a job for you.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
