What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at ARK Basement Services?
Ark Basement Services is a family-owned basement waterproofing and structural repair company. We are looking to add a full time Service Manager to our Alliance, OH location. At Ark Basement Services, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service and the Service Manager plays a big part in that. Our Service Manager responds to service requests from our existing customers and oversees our installation crews. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with both company personnel and our past and present customer base.
The Service Manager will work closely with all of the company locations including our offices in Erie and Pittsburgh, so flexibility and good organizational skills are important. There is no weekend work with this position and salary will be based on experience.
Qualifications
- Prior waterproofing or construction experience is required. We will train you on how we install jobs but basic knowledge of foundation repair and or general home improvement work is necessary to be successful. This is a hands on position.
- Must demonstrate a confident, proactive, and positive approach when interacting with clients/team members.
- Results driven, resourceful, and hands on individual with strong service orientation.
- Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
- Candidate must be able to work independently while understanding the necessity for communication and coordination with sales managers and all employees.
Responsibilities
- Conduct all service calls received from Ark Basement customers. Often it will be necessary to troubleshoot the issue and determine the best approach on resolving the matter.
- Coordinate and organize the installation crews each morning to ensure all jobs are on schedule and being completed according to the job specifications.
- Ensure that vehicles are maintained and inventory is organized and accounted for.
